The performance ‘Lupita’ was part of a group exhibition of the same name which featured artists Gabriela Guarnizo, Sarah Johnson and Laura Vargas and took place at Musik Statt Autobahn e.V in Berlin in September, 2020.
Using an analog video mixer visuals were combined with live electronic sounds; voice, synth drones, samples and finally the corporeal squelches of a kiss captured by a contact microphone. A cathode-ray tube screen displayed a live camera feed of the performance overlayed with footage of a dark liquid filling the screen.
